Cucumber - grew larger than 4 inches

We have a cucumber that finally grew larger than 4 inches. I'm just going to admit we're winging this with cliff notes when we were surprised with this unit at our school. The students cheered excitedly today. I'm not sure if we can eat it after nurturing it the past month
