well it depends on the amount of heat. Basically you want to regulate temperature so it’s not too hot and not too cold. The vent will help with not to hot and air circulation

hopefully someone can give you more info on that. I’d say you probably need some venting but not sure how much

i run the lights for a while and they dont get very hot which i think is helped by their fans

then you may be ok. Main purpose of vent in that type of setup is heat regulation. Maybe could just use some standard fans to move air around as well as out

i was thinking of trying that out first before additional investment of extraction vents. got an old desktop fan i could put in to keep the air moving and keep an eye on the temp. i know plants have differant likes in terms of heat etc but what would suggest is the max temp it should run at before having to think of extraction.

i would search for the temperature ranges for your specific plants .. generally I think they like it 60-80 degrees best but changes by plant

You will get heat from the light and after 6 hours your tent will increase in temperature by 10 degrees roughly , up to 20

Extraction fans fell 2 fold by circulating old stagnant air (which is also done by opening the door a few times a day to look at your plants(which you will do a lot it's fun to see the changes)) but also reduce temperatures and humidity by always cycling the air for you

get a programmable plug in thermostat and use a 4" duct booster fan from a home improvement store. Program it to turn on at 75 and off at 65. Be good to go. Also get a small clip on desk fan to move air around the tent
