So I had some Kale started in a planter before I decided to get into hydroponics. Here's a pic of soil bound Kale compared to my hydroponic Kale. Soil bound is I'm sure lacking nutrients but so much better color in hydroponics.

It's not really a drip pipe as much as it is a full supply line. I built a valve header to control the flow to each tower or turn any one off for cleaning or not being in use. Then it's just a 1/2" pvc loosely inside a 1" pvc that is at the top and bottom of each tower. When it rotates, they simply "float" around inside the larger pipe

Goes through a lazy Susan bearing so it can rotate

Drain is the same concept as the top. All the 1" loosely fits into a 1-1/2" drain manifold back to tank
