Whats a good ppm range for Lettuce, kale, and swiss chard.
I am running about 400 ppm
Ph of 6 with just base nutrients grow...
I have not added any calcium or magnesium nutrients which i know is good for kale…

800ppm and yes add those in.

add your calmag first and check ppm. Use that ppm to zero. Then add your nutrients and adjust to mfg specification (if you are using store bought nutrients).

      Never seen any mfg say you have to. Their feed chart didn't mention anything about it. Do you feed per the bottle or the feed chart btw?

      I always add my silica, then calmag, then hydroguard, then nutes and then ph it

      Feed chart from and the store where bought the guy said start with base then work your way down...

      I am always worried about precipitate. I hate wasting chem and I'm not about to run it in my plants if it's wrong. I have always run my way (with different lines of chem) and never had any issues.

      Nice yea i always just start with base work my way down and give a good stir and wait 5 min in between

      if you have a spare o2 pump and stone, drop it in the mixing bucket and let air do the mixing for you. Helps a ton, especially when you are adding something like silica that needs to be well mixed before it falls out of suspension
