Just finished the strawberry NFT system in the sunroom. Got a 1600gph pump for my vertical tower and took that old 600gph pump for this system.

Works perfectly. Flushing out the debris from holesawing all the holes out for a day or so and then I'll put the strawberries in. I do plan on putting in a dam in the first part of the first tube cause the flow is so fast, it doesn't have time to build up in the first 5'.

I have mounted lights above each row.

Thank you. Just trying to utilize underused space.

how is the water getting to the top I know you said a pump but I doesn’t even look like you have anything hooked up at the top distributing the water

I see it that the small pvc connected to the pump running under that big pump

I think I should say thank you. Guess I did my job too good. Lol. Technically just behind the 4" pvc is a 1/2" pvc supply line. It just fits in the negative space that the 4" radius creates in the hangers. And there are 2, 90deg turns at the end of the pipe where it goes into the 4" end cap.

Tried to do my best to conceal the system so it didn't look too obnoxious in the room

what kind of nutriens will you use?

I'm gonna run Masterblend for nutrients. Gravity is how the water is moved once it's pumped to the top most pipe inlet. The pipes have a slight slope and once the water starts moving, it pulls the rest with gravity back to the tank. I'd definitely make sure whichever lights you choose, make sure you have a full spectrum coverage. They need at least the two frequencies for growth, 400-500nm and 600-700nm.
