NFT system for kale lettuce

Im doing NFT system for kale lettuce etc...
Im using 3inch pipe just curious how much water need to run in the setup some runs have a little nice flow and some are most half full which i feel is causing issues for roots to grow...
Reason im saying this is some of my lettuce and kale and swiss chard depending on the row has nice roots and the other dont so basically roots ade growing searching for water....
Anyone help with this

I out so the water just touches pots by half inch hope that helps

So your water touches the net pots at all times i thought the purpose of NFT was so the water on runs on bottom of pipe ??? If the water level is that high wouldnt that be like DWC almost

Is the middle light a T8? Id just remove it and put one T5 at the top

Im looking to find a better light for sure so i can use 1 that will get top and bottom
