Using 2 t8s on each row avout 5 inch above plant roughly 20000 lumens... These should do much better hopefully…
Am I reading this correctly..... 20,000 Lumen? Or 2,000? Or is that a total of all the lights combined?

20,000 is a lot. So in guessing that's total for all the bulbs in one system. Cause I'm running 2200 lumen per bulb
how far way is your meter to the bulb
I'm going off the bulb rating not a light meter. My bulbs are rated for 2200 lumen each
so are mine but because the light is about 6inch or so above canopy my rating is more farther away.. When i use my meter and measure from top of canopy to bulb thats what i get

no way you get 20,000 lumens from 2 t8 tubes. Maybe 2800 each. T5HO54W only put out about 5000 lumens each.
Just double checked so im actually getting 13000 to 15000 depending in heigh of the light to top of plant... I had my back t5s in when i got the 20000 number my mistake. But my lights hang 4 to 6 inch above and thats what im getting
Try out a light meter on the plants to see what they have. Download app on phone 5k-10k lux on plant is good.

It doesn't matter what kind of light amount you have if you're not getting the light to the plant is the point. I have different levels for different sized plants so that my lights can be as close as possible to the plant itself.
I have found that you can give the plant all it needs and if you do not supply the heat or the humidity it needs it will get leggy also.
Right so i keep it roughly 4-6 above canopy, humidity in area is 45 percent and heat is around 22c when lights on....19c when lights off
John Di Cesare my humidity shoots upbeat night to 80 but down to 40s in the day and have about 60f to 80f swing in temp
80 thats crazy high you have your stuff in a sealed room to do so... I cant its open basement and i do have another room that is used for my other stuff so i do my best to keep humidity low in flower....
It is a 8x8 room with roughly 120 lettuce plants stacked. There us exhausted air but humitity rockets when heat drops because of moisture density. Still have air moving and it's only overnight. Been working amazing. Plants seem to love it.
