what do you mean by 6/2? I’m also trying to adjust my light schedule.

    • Ross Bauer

so a 6 hour on 2 hour off is equivalent to the 18/6 but the theory is sure the dark cycles allow the plants to use the light energy that's been stored and the recharge instead of overcharging and then using its stores at night

    • Ross Bauer

but honestly the answer any true questions to your comments I need to know some more generals are we talking high-value plants? I can work with that

    • Ross Bauer

But I dont know enough to try and guess at your problems ( btw only 1 year experience so I call my answers guesses)

thank you! I am growing a variety of flowers, and then herbs. I have a full spectrum light, and then a red/blue light. Would you recommend just using one over the other, or switch them on at different times?

    • Ross Bauer

so I believe your herbs can be considered more of your leafy greens which are fluorescent lights or the blue Spectrum and white spectrums which i believe Is just all colors (by the way I belive the more white a led looks when on pointing down the better it is these pink lights or BLURPLE arent the same, it's old tech) plus your own eyes and pictures will love you

    • Ross Bauer

But the reds are great for fall harvest plants or 90 dayers

    • Ross Bauer

That's my guesses and experience in my year of growing

      fall harvest plants

      fall harvest plants

    • Ross Bauer

so kinda a blurple vs white in looks (its the same plant I am making space and doing some new grows so moved it.... but it spent the first part of its life under the 1500w Equivalent led cob light

    • Ross Bauer

Have you grown a cucumber or zucchini before ? Think about how much space your used to seeing between each leaf stem ... and what not or *nodes* in some cultures ... usually 6 inches or more

    • Ross Bauer

So my 1500w equiv only uses like 250w btw did that to my zucchini

      zucchini 1500 watt

    • Ross Bauer

Hope it helps lol I know lots wonder about why light strength matters I suppose this is one thing to always consider

Sorry for coming off like a dick , just need more info good sir

No. You're good. DWC under 1000watt led. Peppers, cannabis and basil. Fox Farm Nutrients. Peppers are on the big bloom and grow big nutrients and the cannabis is just on big bloom. Everything is still in veg phase.
