      herbs and strawberries

OK.. Herbs will do well in the tubular NFT's, and your straberries... you could go either tubluar NFT or Dutch buckets. The thing with the tubular set ups, You have keep in mind the top surface of a round tube only has a min surface area, so the heavier larger plant will need at some point support. I have seen many tubulars used for strawberries, however. Dutch buckets have great surface area - super good choice for larger heavier fruit bearing edibles. I use my NFT tubulars for lighweight leafy edible, but you do need to judicously harvest them. I use buckets for larger heavier plants, but they can easily be used for others as well. Right now I'm running 7 baby buckets (2 gallons) with good sized swiss chard. The Tubular NFT's I got on amazon. there are at least a dozen different companies selling them - different number of tubes/plant cites. Prices are a moving target - shop it! Hope that helps.
